Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
1. Who we are
Evidose is a science-backed supplement intelligence platform operated by an independent founder based in the United Kingdom. Our website is available at evidose.health. You can contact us at hello@evidose.health.
2. What data we collect
We collect the following personal data only when you voluntarily provide it: your email address (if you sign up for updates or submit an ingredient request), and any information you include in an ingredient request form such as the ingredient name and your reason for interest. We do not collect any other personal data. We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes.
3. Why we collect it
We collect your email address to send you updates about new ingredient reviews and platform features, and to notify you if an ingredient you requested has been reviewed. We collect ingredient request information to help us prioritise our review schedule. We will never use your data for any other purpose.
4. Legal basis for processing
Under UK GDPR, our legal basis for processing your email address is your consent — you provide it voluntarily when signing up. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing from any email we send you or by contacting us directly at hello@evidose.health.
5. How we store your data
Email addresses collected through our signup form are stored securely with our email service provider (Mailchimp). We do not store email addresses on our own servers. Ingredient requests may be stored temporarily for the purpose of reviewing and responding to them, after which they are deleted.
6. How long we keep your data
We retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed to our updates. If you unsubscribe, your email address will be removed from our list within 30 days. Ingredient request data is deleted once reviewed, typically within 90 days.
7. Third parties
We use Mailchimp to manage our email list. Mailchimp processes data in accordance with their own privacy policy. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties. We do not use Google Analytics or any other tracking or advertising services.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, withdraw consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@evidose.health.
9. Medical disclaimer
Evidose is an educational resource only. Nothing on this website constitutes medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any supplement, particularly if you take medication or have an existing health condition.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Evidose after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
11. Contact
For any privacy-related questions or requests, contact us at hello@evidose.health.
This privacy policy was written to comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. If you have any concerns about how we handle your data, please contact us at hello@evidose.health or contact the ICO at ico.org.uk.
